Christmas Day 2010

The boys had a great time opening their presents and later Bella, Traci and Joe came over and we had a great prime rib dinner and then we had round 2 of present opening.

Bella went to see Santa today at the mall. She looked so pretty in her red plaid dress and her shiny black shoes!

Grandma DiTore has been patiently waiting for Bella to be ready to eat Pastina. Well, yesterday she got the go-ahead so we gave her some. She liked it a lot!! Yeaah Bella.

Having a Catch... Clark & Dex Style

We take the boys to the park to allow them to work off some of that non-stop energy.

We bring a ball for each of them and our intention is to have a catch. Well, Clark & Dex have their own version of "having a catch"

It's going to be tough saying goodbye on Sunday. We had so much fun!

Loving Our Time with Our Grandsons

Our children, Rich & Lindsay are vacationing abroad (well deserved and much needed) and we are having a blast with our two big boys. They have been so good and it's so much fun to see how fast they've grown.

Clark's 3rd Birthday Party

On Sunday, Sept 19th Clark had his 3rd birthday party. All the night before it was raining, with thunder & lightening. Clark did not sleep too much and as a result was not his chipper self, but despite all that we think he enjoyed his day with his friends and cousins.

Trip To The Forest Park - St Louis

On our 1st full day with Rich, Lindsay, Clark & Dex we went to Forest Park to see the great Balloon Race. Unfortunately, we did not see one balloon :(
So we just enjoyed the morning by taking in the sights.

The Wedding

Melissa and Mike Scaparro - August 27, 2010

The wedding was held at Gargulios Restaurant in Coney Island, Brooklyn, NY. The restaurant was literally around the corner from Nathans Hot Dog Place.

NY / NJ Food. OMG!

Last week Janis and I flew to NJ to attend our Niece's wedding and we experienced the best food. It's been so long since we had such great food we almost forgot what we were missing.

I know it's silly but I just love taking pictures of good food. Here are a few we took.

At the wedding we had broccoli rabe. It was so good.

We also had delicious fresh canolli's

and Chocolate Covered Strawberrys

And finally..... delicious Chicken Parm

Then on Wednesday we went to Hobokin, NJ to see "The Cake Boss" Bakery.

Fugetaboudit! First of all it was raining. The line to get in was over 2 blocks long and th e wait was over 2 hours. So we decided to get some REAL food and skip the bakery visit. I managed to take a picture of the bakery from the car as we drove away. So slong Carlos!

Then we headed over to Corrado's Family Affair Market in Clifton, NJ

We were blown away by the amount of amazing food there. We never saw a pasta isle

this size.

St. Louis Visit

Well we had a wonderful 13 day visit with our children and grandsons, Clark & Dex. We did a lot of things. We went to the zoo, the botanical gardens the train place and so much more. We had our obligatory Pappy's "fix" of pulled pork and corn-on-the-cob. We went to The Hill and enjoyed a great Italian dinner at Zia's. I had the Spiedini Proscuitto: which consisted of white breast meat marinated, lightly dusted in breadcrumbs, basted in lemon butter and charbroiled. Topped with white wine, lemon butter sauce with proscuitto ham, slicedmushrooms and provel cheese. It was Hmmmmmm, Yummy!

Happy Easter!

Today, Easter Sunday we are eating at Joe & Traci's. Janis, Grace and Renee made Easter Bread from scratch for the occasion. It came out so gooood!!!! Will post more pictures later.

Hi! Well, we're back from a wonderful dinner at our children's house. What a great meal. We had rack of pork, sweet potato casserole, Traci's potato casserole, broccoli, pineapple cheese casserole, bruschetta, sausage bread, and on and on...... Everything was so delicious. And of course we had baby Bella (but not for dinner, just to enjoy). And for the 1st time Bella Grace was together with Bella and Grace, her great grandma's that she was named after.
